Stop surviving the song and start conducting the scene with The Complete Score: Musical Improv Toolbox, a high-energy intensive designed for experienced players ready to trade "rhyme-panic" for theatrical magic. This session cracks open the professional toolkit to help you build improvised songs that look, sound, and feel like the real deal. You’ll master the art of the big build by crafting memorable choruses with satisfying structural payoffs, while simultaneously learning to use the stage to create cinematic, Broadway-ready pictures. We’ll dive deep into character-first vocals - teaching you to sing from the soul of your character rather than just the top of your lungs - and explore the stylistic keys to any musical kingdom, from ballads to Sondheim-esque patter.

About Stacey: Tim Schmiedner ist Pianist und Komponist an der Schnittstelle von Jazz, Klassik und Filmmusik. Er schreibt moderne Musik für unterschiedliche Besetzungen - von Streichquartett und Jazzcombo, bis hin zum Sinfonieorchester. Neben seiner Arbeit als Sideman in verschiedenen Projekten ist er fester Bestandteil der Improtheater-Szene. Neben seiner künstlerischen Tätigkeit unterrichtet er regelmäßig und gibt Workshops zu Improvisation und Komposition.

Das Improfest Bielefeld 2025 findet vom 30.10. - 02.11.2025 bereits zum fünften Mal statt mit internationale Gäste:innen u.a. aus Peru, Slowenien und England.
