'It Starts with a Gesture'
Too many scenes start with a word, a sentence, and sometimes a paragraph. What might it mean to start a scene with a gesture?

During this workshop, we will explore this question through investigating physical theatre exercises, meaning making through listening and reading body gestures. We will look at what getting comfortable in the land of no words or less words looks like. When we gather these skills, we will do some scenes that will be led with a nod, a wink, or a shrug. No physical training is prerequisite and it is for everyone with a body, any-body :)
