As Berlin is home to a major animation hub, it is our long-term goal to establish a festival exclusively dedicated to animation.
We annually present the best of recent national and international animated films, focusing on artistic shorts across all styles â from traditional to stop motion, CGI, cross-media experiments and 360° films. The festivalâs film programme is accompanied by a range of different activities focusing on the art and industry of animation. We are Festival of Animation! â â â â â My first Animation Festival and I really loved it! FAB had a great variety of different films, installations, workshops and talks to experience. The workshop with Tina Nawrocki I took part in was really fun and insightful. I'm honoured my music video was chosen to be shown this year and I will definitely be visiting again next time!
